Give Permanent Jobs To NABCO People, Mr President

Time has proven the true colours of Npp. Government of Nana Akufo Addo has no arrangement to permanent NABCO beneficiaries. No increment in the stipend for NABCO people in spite of recent increases in cost of living and introduction of several new taxes including increase in the existing tax rates. The Ghanaian economy has not seen any expansion and growth in the past 5 years. No public investment in the critical sectors of the economy. However, the Ghanaian economy has witnessed stunted growth, high unemployed youths, low revenues and Introduction of new taxes. Hence, It is disingenuous to scrap the allowances paid to national service personnels, Teacher trainees including the NABCO beneficiaries.  Prior to December 7th General Elections, NABCO beneficiaries were told government had permanent them in their job places and were to receive appointment letters and full salaries.

The Gallant Cadres of NDC view the continuous payment of these allowances as very  necessary, and we do not think that the government of Ghana should cancel those allowances, giving a lack of permanent employment the nation has witnessed. The government of Nana Akufo Addo could not create permanent jobs but temporary ones. This has affected negatively needed capital expenditure. No road construction, Schools, hospitals and investments in the aviation sector. Projects that were started by the previous administration have all been abandoned.

Ghanaians have seen huge expenditure on consumption renting of private jets, unsustainable public debts levels including high appetite for borrowings and just imposing taxes on Ghanaians.

Rather the cash which is being squandered by government  renting private jets  ought to  be utilised to create jobs in the country for the youths, and be used to support young entrepreneurs.

This will help people to contribute to  productivity, and growth in the economy
Government 'decision to discontinue NABCO invalidate all the so called employment measures Npp claims they have put in place. Clearly, the Npp government have no ideas to give employment to the youths as promised and not thinking outside the box. 1D1F, Planting for food and jobs are all fiasco,a conduit of hoodwinked the youths.
