Hoax Galamsey Fight, Innocent Small Scale Miners Killed For Nothing

Gallant Cadres of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lamented that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-addo has totally failed over the fight against illegal mining (galamsey) in the Country.

The Cadres has described the fight against 'galamsey' as fake after several attempt made prove futile.

According to the Gallant Cadres of NDC, the water bodies remain polluted than before, meaning, there are still dredging in the water bodies.

Hoax Galamsey Fight, Innocent Small Scale Miners Killed For Nothing

After burning excavators and deceiving Ghanaians about the fake galamsey fight, the water bodies are even polluted than before. 

This video shows the current state of Ankobra River, taken on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Nzema area. One of my informants took it, sent to me and there is an indication that the Chinese guys are still dredging in the river. 

As I have been crusading against this menace of national concern, the Nana Addo NPP government just make noise on galamsey fight without putting the technical and strategic measures in place to address the sources of the continuous water pollution and land degradation. 

Some countries faced similar illegal mining problems in the past and they addressed them. In USA, legitimate small-scale mining is ongoing devoid of water pollution. Why can’t we do same in Ghana? Is it not surprising that the same government officials who make noise about galamsey fight are the same people engaged in the menace? 

How long are we going to rely on lies in our attempt to solve this galamsey menace? Over to all Ghanaians!
