Afenyo-Markin Has Been Exposed

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, who also doubles as a member of the committee on Defense and Interior Committee in Ghana Parliament has been exposed by the Nananom Of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council and the law abiding citizens of Gomoa.

Speaking to the former Central Regional House of Chiefs' President, the Paramount Chief of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional
Council, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI stressed that, Mr. Afenyo-Markin's attitude towards Gomoas is unwholesome and thereby stands by the week ultimatum, calling on the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to call Afenyo-Markin to other to eschew clash and war among the Gomoas and that of the Effutus.


"We shall continuously name and shame Afenyo-Markin, the MP for Effutu as he does not takes the Chiefs of Gomoas for granted."

"Hon. Member of Parliament, in your capacity as what did you build a Police station on the land of Gomoas and named it 'New Winneba Police Station (Effutu North District Police Headquarters, Winneba) and who even gave you that land?

This is a sign of disrespect you have exhibited towards Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council and the good law abiding citizens of Gomoa, and we shall be force to protect our own lands if our petition to the President Nana Akufo-Addo prove futile in a week's ultimatum to call Afenyo-Markin to order," Omanhen Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI disclosed.


"The fact that a place is named Winneba junction does not authenticate that, the geographical area belongs to the Effutus. Stop claiming and creating of conflict because there were other people before you and you can't do way with Chiefs in your tenure of office," Afenyo-Markin told.

The Paramount Chief of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, Chiefs, Elders and the law abiding citizens of Gomoa hence called on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo "as a matter of urgency to resolve the issue with an immediate effect following the petition to avoid immediate clash and war between the Gomoas and Effutus.''
