Chief And Elders In Abenaso Task Community Guys To Set Chanfa Machines Ablaze

Report reaching us gave us a clear message that, Abenaso, a community in the Kwaebibirem Municipality has been set to be a hidden mining area for an unknown Chinese in the vicinity. 


When the Elders of the community heard of it, they took spy men to give a clear message on what is going on at the scene. These guy went with a leader known as 'Wayosty' an upcoming journalist of the Anaf Media and Training Institute. 

They returned with the same message that unknown Chinese men are on the river called BREM mining.


The Elders of the community gathered some guys to burn their mining equipment on October 25, 2021.

As promised to assist the effectiveness of the work of the appointed and elected members of the Assin North Assembly, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Assin North District (AND), Hon Charles Ohene Andoh on behalf of the President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NALAG President has presented 27 Motorbikes to its members.
