C/R: "Report Any Suspicious Character And Movement To The Police" - Mfantseman MP Tells Constituents

Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region, Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford has made a passionate appeal to the constituents to report any suspicious character and movement to the police.


Honourable Member of Parliament in an interview with the media made this pleads as the family in collaboration with Calvary Methodist Church in Mankessim marks a year anniversary celebration in honour of her Late husband, Hon. Ekow Kwansah Hayford, her predecessor.

Mrs Hayford disclosed that, the police personnel have been trained and they are expert in terms of security and investigations, and through their intelligence gathered will identify whether the person is a suspect or not to that effect.


"Security is a collective and concerted effort of all hence, an individual must be vigilant to report suspicious characters and movement to the police because they have the right to invite and interrogate whether the person is tending to suspect."

She hinted that, "you cannot speed up with investigations and the wheel of justice grinds slowly' as she applauds the security personnel investigating into the matter. 'The investigations done by the police in a year, is very fantastic, because, the key people involved in the act has been arrested, unfortunately one Mohammed died during a shoot-out with the police and there has been a progress".

She indicated that, "identification parade which was conducted by the police has also help identified two of the culprits but at the right time, the police will come out with the intelligence gathered," MP assured.

Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford further explicits her heartfelt appreciation to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Nananom, party executives and the constituents for their maximum support so far.
